About Buffalo Hearing and Speech Centers
The mission of Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center is to improve the quality of life for adults, children and infants with communication disorders by delivering cutting edge diagnosis and treatment of hearing and speech impairments and related special education services. For 59 years, Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center has been helping men, women, and children overcome communication disorders.
Founded as a small agency in 1953, we stand as an innovator, collaborator and leader in the area of language, literacy, and social communication services in Western New York.
Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center is the largest independent, community-based comprehensive hearing and speech center in the US, providing services in speech-language pathology, audiology, literacy and oral deaf education for children and adults with hearing and speech impairments. Accredited by the National Association of Speech & Hearing Centers, we have served over 110,000 people.
Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center includes a New York State Education approved preschool program for children with special education needs and is approved by the Department of Health as an Early Intervention provider and Diagnostic Treatment Center.
